Frank Sinatra Recordings For May 21st

by Michael Johnston on May 21, 2010

Sinatra only recorded on May 21st only once in his career, in 1974. But what a session it turned out to be. It ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous, with a little bit of in-between: What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life? is a latter-day Sinatra classic;  Satisfy Me One More Time is a bit of a chuckle, at first, but one quickly concludes that those lyrics are beneath Sinatra; while Tie a Yellow Ribbon managed to make my list of the 10 worst Reprise-era Sinatra songs.
