Shocking Photo Evidence of Sinatra “The Red”

I like to think that I’m a fair-minded person. So, after posting this morning’s item about Sinatra, I decided to have a look at some old photographs of Frank, to see if there really was anything to support the writer’s belief that Frank was a pinko, red, communist tool.

Why hasn't anyone noticed this before?

Imagine my shock when I found the photo at right. I’ve looked at it dozens of times before and never once did I spot anything amiss. But after reading of Frank Sinatra’s communist affiliations, I have to say there might have been something to it. (Be sure to click to enlarge the photo)

I don’t know why this hasn’t been previously reported.

It was meant to be a gag. I tinted an old black and white photo of Sinatra so that his skin color was pinkish-red…. Alas, I didn’t tint it quite enough for the effect to be obvious.
