Lobby cards were introduced in 1913. Theater owners acquired these 11"x 14" placards as promotional materials with each new film. Even though enormous quantities of these lobby cards were printed, the majorities were discarded after the movie had played its run; thus many lobby cards have become very valuable and collectible.

This is the COMPLETE set of 8 original cards from the 1960 release of CAN-CAN. Sinatra is pictured in 6 of the 8 cards. These cards are in pristine condition. Only one set to sell !
